Choosing 5 Homeless People
If I had inherited a large amount of money, I would donate to numerous causes. First, and foremost, would be to that of the homeless. Some may call my program a little unorthodox, but in the end, five people will have walked away $5000 richer; I call it “Survivor, The Homeless Edition.”
Before we are able to start the program, minor research is needed. First of all, we need to find the most concentrated areas of homeless people in and around our city. Once that is done, a map will be generated enabling our team to go out and randomly choose 15 participants. Once the selection process is complete, we are able to begin stage one.
In stage one, participants will be divided into 3 groups of 5 to compete in an obstacle course. The course is designed to mimic real life, and will include running from police officers, hiding in condemned buildings, jumping over fences, and running in and out of traffic. The only catch to phase one is that participants will be required to drink one full 40 oz bottle of beer prior to starting the course. The first group to successfully complete the course without passing out or getting arrested, will advance to stage two.
In stage two, our goal is to assess creativity. Participants will be given poster boards, colored markers and paper, crayons, pencils, scissors,...
