Morality is very important in this world. Everyone has a different moral view. They are usually framed on what our parents teach us. A person’s morals can evolve over time. I believe the first of the five themes of morality is community.
I was taught that service to my community was a priority. It is very moral of me to do community service when it is needed. I volunteer at the Art Center, the Fire Department, and my church. I alter serve every Sunday.
Moral Fairness is second. Everyone should be treated fairly. A good example of this is our school. There are no real huge cliques who would not allow a specific person.
Purity is cleanliness. If you see someone peeing on the street and you think it is dirty that you are very pure at heart. I believe this is a key morality for our society. People who swear with dirty words do not have purity.
A person’s morality should not let them be harmful to others. Some morals think it is ok to harm others. Murderers morally think it is ok. I believe it is very wrong.
Finally, the least moral type is authority. I think every person should be equal therefore there is no one higher with more authority.
My morality has changed since I was younger. Authority was first when I was about 5 or 6. When I was in middle school, 6th and 7th grade, purity was probably last.
Morals are needed in every society to survive well. Morals have decreased in acceptance since the olden days. Parents will always frame the way children should view their morals.
