Preface
The theme for my project is war. I choose war because it is very sad and major cause in the US. War brings countries tragedy and sorrow. War is a cold time and nobody should deal with it. They were many wars in the history of Earth. Here are some of the wars that have gone throughout time: The Civil War World War I World War II Vietnam War and many more. Even though this wars have finished quiet some time ago; this wars have left their mark when millions of people have died for no real reason. They are even wars going on today in the present such as the war at Iraq. The war is over some oil that the US does not have. The US does not need this oil they are many more ways of producing energy. However for the selfish reasons of Bush he keeps sending troops to Iraq and Iran and many families each day loose someone near to them it can be a brother, mother, dad, cousin, uncle, or even someone’s close friend. Nobody should deal with this misery.
Even though War is bad and brings misery some wars actually did good. For example the civil war released many slaves from their white owners. It brought freedom towards them and the people who died in that war were really brave and where honored to have them fight that war and win it. Without this war their might of still been segregation and a very cruel way. However war is still a last consideration of what they should have done. They could have worked it out or had the white people locked up somehow. Not to mention the Civil War did not stop all of segregation but it was one of the biggest step to stopping it. Even though KKK members are still alive now if they do get caught tormenting anybody they get locked up and they get punished for what they did. This is why I choose war as my theme.
