I always looked up to my father who is also my mentor. My father is a brilliant architect, who
up to this to inspires and encourages me. When I decided to tell him about my future being an
architect, he was not surprised because he always knew that eventually I will come to this
point; he believed that I have everything to fulfil my wish. Before that he never pushed me,
never told me what to do, He guided me, gave me all I need to know.

I started drawing when I was very young. With time, my skills became better and better. In the
end I discovered that being able to draw is very vital for being an architect. My real
interest in architecture began when I was in High School. I used to go to my father's office
and observe him working as an architect by looking at the work of his department, looking
through working plans and examining the future projects. I used to explore new buildings, my
fathers creations, spending hours on construction sites, thinking what I would like to add and
how I would do it.

Kazakhstan is new and constantly developing country, that grows with an amazing speed. The
government is planning to build four auxiliary cities near southern capital of Almaty. My
fathers company will participate in the construction of one of the cities. I spent hours
looking at the models, 3d construction plans of recent company's projects and started to think
about the residential complexes, public and entertainment buildings. This encouraged me to
develop my own ideas. While I was in the process of bringing the idea, I felt 'This job is the
one I'm going to do in my lifetime'.

In Kazakhstan I applied for university, the architecture major and studied there for a month.
The course itself was based on the technical/engineering side of architecture. I was more
