1. Introduction


The present study is a theoretical synthesis that tries to structure, in some way, the information about a significant part of the translation field. Actually, it presents the participants in the translation process, their importance, role and responsibilities, but also the relationship that appears between them during their collaboration. This paper doesn’t bring too much novelty in the domain, although it offers a clear image of an extremely important chapter of the extraordinary book of translations.
During my research on this subject I found lots of interesting and essential things about what the translation process really means, what it supposes but at the same time I came to better appreciate the effort and the work a translator needs to “invest” in every project, in every relationship established with his clients, the persons he works with.
