Social Moron

There are many important ideas, beliefs and freedoms worth fighting for and defending. It is essential to remember the sacrifices that our founding fathers made, and all of the difficulties they endured in order to gain independence, and provide us with the great freedoms and choices we have today. Americans must do everything possible to defend our precious freedoms.
It is equally imperative that we help defend human rights around the world, and work to promote justice, equality, and opportunity for all, not only in this country, but around the world. The ideals of democracy, human rights, equality, and religious freedom are all worth fighting for, and worth defending, as depicted in my collage. Throughout history, up to the present day, we are still fighting to preserve and expand these concepts, beliefs and freedoms.
Everyone in this country deserves an equal chance at a happy and fulfilling life, and the “pursuit of happiness.” When our way of life and system of government is jeopardized by acts of violence or terrorism, it becomes necessary to defend ourselves and our democracy. An excellent example of this is found in the events of September 11, 2001, and the actions that our government took to defend our country, and all of its citizens, after this horrendous act of terrorism was committed against the United States.
Finally, we must also strive to gain the respect and admiration of others around the world, and to show those in other countries how much pride we take not only in ourselves, but also in our way of life. We should also strive to enhance our humanitarian efforts, so that our true, generous, and compassionate nature is accurately displayed.
