ABSTRACT
Currently transportation planners in developing country cities are facing a number of problems that require very intense consideration. Insufficient public transportation obviously affected on every aspect, and there would be a lot of lost benefits if the demand of public transport could not be satisfied in order to enable people to go for their business activity without avoidable obstruction. The papers try to reveal the causes and effects of recent public transportation problem in Jakarta. Expectantly, with more comprehended way of urban transportation demand analysis, good quality outcomes will accomplish in its future solution.
A city is never a finished product. It is always changing. There is no end to the learning, development, and adaptation it requires to remain vital and responsive to the needs of its citizens.
