Recently, we can always become aware of articles or news about Global Warming from newspaper, television, and so on. What is Global Warming? According to George Christodoulou, the definition of global warming is the next big impact that would be changed in the weather conditions patterns (Christodoulou 2007). The warming of the earth’s atmosphere is caused by the increasing of temperature in the earth. An unparalleled warming of the Earth Surface is lead when the greenhouse gas concentrations have increased. It may increase the average temperature of global, observed by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Global warming is mostly caused by human’s activities such as releasing Carbon Dioxide, burning fossil fuel, or even the usage of air-conditioning that release the chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's). How will global warming happen? Moreover, what are the effects on our earth? Even thought global warming will cause a lot of problem to us, but some people still do not believe that it is a real threat.(162)

The main reason that causes global warming happen is the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gasses is a important gasses for us, it helps to warm our earth by act as a blanket to keep some warm in our atmosphere. Without greenhouse gasses, the temperature of our earth will become 15°C lower. However, when too many greenhouse gasses occur in our earth, it may be cause a lot of problem to us. The short wave radiation that transmitted from the sun will become long wave radiation when the too many greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. The short waves radiations pass through the atmosphere to warm the earth’s surface and then would re-radiated back to the atmosphere. However, when the short wave radiation become long, it will become less penetrating and will cause some of the long wave radiation could not be re-radiated back to the atmosphere, thus, the temperature in our earth will become higher or hotter.
