Gangs are a violent reality nightmare that people have to deal with in today's cities. Many people have their own perspective on gangs and why they exist. They are many reasons of why gangs exist in our reasons way gangs exist in our world. One of the reasons is friendship they always inform their friends the glamour and pushing them into their gang. Children that lack pocket money always think being in gangs always earn them a large amount of pocket money. Television also plays an important role to the road of gangs; many shows on television are exceedingly violent and are often shown this from a gang's perspective. The lack of family and parent love issue is really frustrating for the teenagers. Parents can often feel that putting food on the table is enough love. Teenagers, undereducated and without access to good jobs, become frustrated with their lives and join gangs as an alternative to boredom, hopelessness and devastating poverty.
The attitude is established into the teenager and then if the teenager gets the chance he firstly thinks about it and thinks about the mentality that was installed before he is automatically pushed to join a gang. As time goes on, a form of love develops between the gang members and the teenager. It is then that the bond between the teenager and the gang is completed because the gang has effectively taken the place of the family for example the character Johnny from the outsiders’ novel written by Susan Eloise Hinton. Rivalry gangs are created by the gangs attempting to be the dominant gang in the community, then the mentality of hatred creates its self, they start to hate each other until it comes to stage that they want to raze and sadden each other.
Gangs are a large problem to our society in a large scale. They tend to vandalise and damage their community for pleasurable, reputation and depressing reasons. These are some problems they create in our society:
