Family
As people go through life many things may come and go, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, even husbands and wives. The one thing that stays constant in life is family. Weather you like or not your family is your family; there is nothing you can do about it. You cannot choose what family you’re born into, or what family you grow up with, so learn to embrace the loved ones that you have; Because no matter what you do, they will still be your family. Even if you decide to not talk to a loved one ever again, they are still your family, bottom line. If one learns to get past the differences and the fights, and learn to love unconditionally; then life will be happier for you. Unconditional means that no matter what happens between you and someone in your family, your still going to love them. Unconditional love is what makes strong families, its what holds them together.
Although at times things may get a little tough or rocky with your family, don’t give up on them because all families have their own fair share of problems? People have to learn to take the good with the bad. I know at this point I am only 18 but I have really come to understand the importance of family over my lifetime. Even through all the fights and arguments that I have with a loved one, at the end of the day I still love them, and they still love me. Why hold grudges or stay mad at each other? How does that make the situation any better?
The actual definition of “family” is any group of persons closely related by blood, as parents, children, uncles, aunts, and cousins. I believe that the definition of family is too limited. There have been people in my life that have made such an impact on me and the person that I have become, that I would consider them my family. Weather it is that they taught me something or showed me something or even was just there for me when I needed them, that’s the kind of impact I am talking about.
