Boston University

Being rasied in the Philadelphia area, I never heard much about Boston University besides is for it's big city setting and academics. Nevertheless, Boston University has become of great interest to me in advancing my education.

After searching New England and some of the states south of it for propective universities I came across Boston University. The large city setting had caught my eye and prmopted me to research further. I visited the website and went to the page for The College of Engineering. While reading various facoids and statements I came to a realization that this is where I wanted to spend my undergraduate career. When I saw pictures of the campus for the first time my mind was made.

Living in a city setting has always been a fancy of mine. The ability to walk to where ever you need to go without hopping in a car has always seemed very interesting to me. Another thing which has always intrigued me about living in the city is the closeness yet separation from your neighbors. Couple the ability to go where you want with the city atmosphere and you would have an ideal setting.

I searched around the site for extracurricular activites and clubs, and to my pleasant suprise I came across the cycling club. Being an avid cyclist myself this discovery sparked my fire and added to the reasons for applying to Boston University. I had always dreamed of cycling for a squad in college and this breakthrough in my college search was a very important one.

With the ideal setting, superior academics, and awesome extracurricular clubs that Boston University has to offer, shouldn't you be asking why I wouldn't want to attend Boston University?
