According to the case, her skills of corporate achievements, determination, drive, innovation, and leadership earned her the title of Woman of the Year 2004 by the Hispanic Business Magazine. She is also described as committed and a hard-worker (pg. 81). Her commitment skill is shown through the many roles she acquired throughout her career. Also, her work ethic is illustrated through the short amount of time that took her to rise in position. For example, she went from being a workforce-planning manager to a human resources manager in just two years (pg. 81).
